We all have a basic understanding of what an IMAGE is. But if you're uncertain, just stand in front of a mirror. What do you see? Is it your father, mother, sibling, or someone else? Or do you recognize the reflection as your own?
Are you absolutely sure? To dispel any doubt, move your head slightly, or raise your hand to touch your forehead. Did the reflection mirror your movements? Place your hand on your chest. Did the IMAGE in the mirror do the same? If it did, then what you are looking at is undeniably your own IMAGE—not that of someone else.
REFLECTIONS
By definition, an IMAGE is a copy, a duplicate, or a reflection. A photograph, for example, is a perfect representation of this concept. It captures your likeness, but it is not you—only a faithful copy. While the photograph may appear to replicate every physical aspect of you, it remains a separate entity, an IMAGE, not the original.
Even in the case of an identical twin, despite the striking resemblance, they are not your IMAGE. You may look very much like a parent, yet the similarity ends at appearance, and they cannot be called your IMAGE either. Interestingly, it has been observed that married couples may start to resemble each other over time. Yet, neither can be considered the IMAGE of the other. No one else can be your IMAGE—only you can.
Your IMAGE is as unique as your thumbprint; no two people in the world share the same thumbprint pattern. This uniqueness is why thumbprints are universally accepted as a reliable form of identification. Forensic scientists often rely on thumbprints to identify individuals, especially in solving crimes, by matching prints found at crime scenes.
Such is the precision of IMAGE. In fact, IMAGE is so accurate that the human mind depends on it for its creative functions. What is this creative function of the human mind? It’s the ability to work in harmony with the Universal Mind to manifest experiences and realities in an individual’s life.
